Please be patient. The detail is worth the wait.
Thank you for viewing our Sport Phaeton.
ABOVE: The trunk lid inside covering is original, including the nailing spacing.
The trunk lid aligns to the body just as the original did.
ABOVE: A weak spot on these Phaeton bodies is the wood because they are more exposed, if left outdoors. The trunk lid is especially
vulnerable with water collecting and rotting the wooden frame. This is the original wood and all of it is perfectly solid. Normally these
deck lids are very "loosey-goosey" because of the wood. When this lid closes, it is a just a solid thunk.
ABOVE: The trunk carpeting is finished on all the edges with surging. More great paint reflections.
ABOVE: No rust in the trunk jambs, ever.
ABOVE: The left side side curtains (original). All pieces exist for both sides of the car.
ABOVE: The right side curtains. I find it amazing that something so fragile could survive. The snaps and hardware are all rust free original. Plastic has been replaced
and sewn in, somewhat sloppy, just as the original was. These curtains could be cleaned and look better; but why? They are amazing as is, with no mold or mildew!
ABOVE: The unique bag made by Cline Upholstery with two inner bags. The side curtains fit in their respective inner bag.
ABOVE: The very well made top boot from the original as the pattern.
ABOVE: The whole neat package fits nicely in the trunk. These bags are made from the quality material that the top and boot are.
