Note: The Sport Phaeton has found a new home in California early in 2011. The new custodian of this fantastic Classic (registered) is very deserving. Our family will keep this web site online for the enjoyment of all Packard and Classic car enthusiasts.
This is a pictorial introduction to a Packard Dual Cowl Sport
Phaeton and its New Mexico family for the last
three and a half decades.
This presentation shows this "almost unknown" Sport Phaeton
in its obscure, remote habitat. Our Sport Phaeton was delivered
new and was garaged in the dry climate of Denver, Colorado.
The first owners were the Boggio family.
The car has been here in the arid New Mexico climate for
almost sixty years and has always been indoors.
Most of the people in the collector car arenas do not know
this car was, in fact, delivered in 1937. Many of the
people that did know this car are now gone:
Just a few remain that have seen it.
The documentation in the following presentations,
letters, and photos shows that it certainly does exist.
