American History
Welcome to American History! This year in class we will focus on the post Civil War Era through Modern America. This will include the Gilded Age, the Progressive Era, World War I, the Roaring 20s and Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, and beyond!
We will be using Google Classroom --all resources that you need will be on there or will be handed out in class!
**Parents may request guardian access by sending Ms. Lind an email. Guardian access allows you to see a weekly report on missing assignments.
Below you will find important documents for this class including my syllabus and my agenda/homework document.

Resources
Library of Congress-- We will occasionally use this website to research primary documents in class!
PBS Learning Media is another website that we will use through class. I will also provide direct links to what you will use for videos, but feel free to check it out if you want to explore American History more!
America the Story of US is one of my favorite documentaries, so don't be surprised when we watch several episodes through the year!
Another one of my favorites is The Men Who Built America which covers the major Titans of Industry/Robber Barrons of the Gilded Age. We won't have time to watch all of the episodes, but you can find them on YouTube!
Crash Course US History on youtube will be one source that we use through the year. You can use this link to access the entire playlist.
