Rules update; Use of Cell Phones (Revised): Cell phones are allowed during competition as distance only rangefinders. In addition, players are allowed to utilize cell phones for online scoring (individual school or entire tournament) and shot tracking. Players may use their cell phones when they leave the green and prior to teeing off on the next hole to enter scores online and/or enter shot tracking information with all other cell phone restrictions in place. Neither coaches or players should communicate via cell phone except in case of emergency on the course. Cell phones are not available for casual use by players during competition. Use of a cell phone for unauthorized purpose(s) will result in a code of conduct violation per IHSAA rules.
