Our Mission :

EDMC PRIMARY SCHOOL CHAUHAN BANGER URDU-II will be a CHANGEMAKER in creating happiness and bliss.

Our vision is to provide the right input to help our pupils so they grow into caring and sharing individuals, a positive thinker and a decision maker.

The Counselling Services at EDMC PRIMARY SCHOOL CHAUHAN BANGER URDU-II aim to promote psychosocial, educational and career orientation for students.

The Counselling department has a motto to empower students to become self-reliant and capable to take right decisions.

Counselling services are kept totally confidential.

(Exceptions to confidentiality are instances of harm to self or others/neglect/abuse)

Students, teachers and parents are requested to get in touch with the counsellor regarding any academic and behavioural concerns or any other pressing needs during school hours with a prior appointment. The contribution of the Counselling Department is of great significance in our student's learning and development. It works on building skills and competencies in the following areas:

1.Personal – understanding and appreciating/acknowledging/accepting individual.

2.Social – Mutual understanding respect and managing relationships.

3.Developmental – understanding growth and respective changes.

4.Educational – developing appropriate plans and strategies for effective learning.

5.Career – creating and developing life and career plans .

The department works towards creating data-driven school counselling programs which are evidence - based, and are aligned with the school’s vision.

Appropriate interventions are designed and evaluated, with the aim to help the school and its stakeholders work together to effectively meet the needs of our learners.

The school has ONE trained EVGC.
