Payroll is done twice a month (bi-monthly) on the 1st and the 16th of each month. Your paycheck will be directly deposited into your selected bank account. Direct deposit usually takes 3 business days to reflect in your account, but some banks vary. There are circumstances where it may take longer due to a holiday.

All of your hours are tracked through the VCC. Even if you are logged in and take a quick break to go to the rest room or grab food, you're still logged in and being paid. If you are going to be gone for longer than 10 minutes, you will need to log out and let a supervisor know that you will be gone for more than 10 minutes. Log back in when you come back.

Since I am not an accountant I can not advise you on how to pay your taxes. However, I can direct you the the IRS website which will give you all the information you need on how to file and pay your federal taxes. Information regarding state taxes depends on which state you live in. You will need to find your state's government website for the appropriate information on filing and paying state and local taxes.
