Social Science at Royal

Royal High School's Social Science department has built a curriculum and set of learning experiences for students that prepares them to lead in a global society. Royal has become a true "Democracy Factory" with Civic Learning and Engagement at the forefront. A leader across our state and nation, the courses and student programs offered at RHS are led by award-winning educators. Through courses that expose students to local, national, and worldwide current issues, governmental and economic systems, the democratic process of the US and political frameworks of other countries, historical events and context, social-emotional and sociological constructs, as well as their own individual roles in advancing society - Royal's Social Science department is preparing students for futures as professionals and stewards of our nation and world.
