Excellence in Activities

Empowering leaders to change our world

The Royal ASB Office's mission is to provide students, staff, and families with diverse extra & co-curricular experiences that create student to school connectedness, offer opportunities for growth, enhance academic & future goals, embrace culture, instill mutual value, and unite the school as the centerpiece of the Royal Valley community. Our goal is to grow student leaders and support them in their pursuit of excellence in the 4 A’s.

Meet our Associated Student Body Cabinet

The Royal High School Associated Student Body (commonly referred to as ASB) is a unique collection of diverse leaders from across the various groups and academic and extracurricular demographics of our school. This group serves not only as the official student governmental body of RHS, but also as a snapshot representation of our entire school. Providing a voice for all, this group not only focuses on creating stronger bonds of respect and appreciation among our student groups, but also to create a more unified, accountable, and responsive student experience for all.

Annual Activities and Events Calendar

Our office team and student leaders work throughout the year to provide Royal students, staff, and families with diverse extra & co-curricular experiences that connect students to Royal, offer opportunities for growth, enhance academic & future goals, embrace culture, instill mutual value, and unite the school as the centerpiece of the Royal Valley community.

Purpose of Student Clubs

Royal High School is proud to assist students in their pursuit of excellence through one or more of the 4 A's of Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Activities as well as cultivate a culture of connectedness each year where students of all interests, needs, and perspectives have the opportunity to participate in clubs.

While academics must be each student's top priority, studies show that students involved in extracurricular activities are better connected to their schools, are socially and emotionally healthier, and perform better academically. We hope our students will choose to get involved and make the most of their high school experience!

Our Club Directory lists the Clubs currently active at Royal with their purpose, mission, and eligibility requirements. Some are affiliated with national clubs while others are unique to our school based on student interest and need. Some clubs offer seniors the opportunity to earn an honor cord for graduation and have strict eligibility requirements while other clubs are open to all students of interest.

Each year, we hold a CLUB RUSH shortly after the start of the school year. At this event, students have the opportunity to sign up for their clubs of interest. If students don't see a club listed here that meets their needs, they can go here to download a "Create a New Club" form which will guide them in the process of creating a new club at Royal High School.
