Career Technical Education Pathways at Royal

The Career Technical Education (CTE) department provides students with the academic and technical preparation to pursue high-skill, high-demand careers in growing industries. We offer a variety of courses that are included in the following CTE Pathways: Building & Construction Trades, Culinary Arts & Hospitality, Education, and Media Arts. These Pathways are designed to prepare students for technical training, postsecondary education, and entry to a career. In addition, our department also includes the annual and journalism advisers.

The Pathways are a sequence of academic and career tech coursework where students explore careers, obtain technical training to prepare for life after high school, either in college or the workplace. Pathways bring together educators, businesses, and the community to apply innovative and meaningful approaches to the education experience. All courses are A-G approved.

Royal is proud to partner with many local businesses to support and enrich our students' experiences in this program. Our partners allow our students to get first hand experience as they explore careers they are passionate about. If your business would like to partner with RHS, we encourage you to reach out.
