Dual Enrollment at Moorpark College

Dual Enrollment is an outstanding opportunity for current high school students to take college courses and achieve dual credit.  RHS has a working partnership with Moorpark College providing more and more opportunities for our students to take these courses on either Royal High's campus after regular hours or at the college campus.

Summer and Fall 2024 registration opens May 2nd, 2024 and remains open until courses begin. 

-Summer classes begin as early as May 20-

-Fall classes begin August 12-

Please register early in order to ensure getting the class you want, since classes fill up quickly. 

Maximum Units allowed for DE: 11.5 (Fall or Spring); 6 (Summer)

NOTE:   Approval by your RHS counselor is required before enrolling in any academic classes.

CJ M01   Intro-Criminal Justice

Course Description:
Introduces the history and philosophy of criminal justice in America, reviewing system recapitulation, sub-system identification, role expectations and interrelationships. Examines crime, punishment and rehabilitation theories, and ethics, education and training issues. Course Credit Limitations: Credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course. Credit will be awarded only for the first course completed with a grade of “C” or better or "P". Honors Program requires a letter grade. Field trips may be required. 

Meets General Ed Areas: CSU Area D, VCCCD GE Area B2 

BUS M37   Marketing

Course Description:
Introduces basic concepts and practices of modern marketing. Includes an overview of marketing, strategic planning, the marketing environment, market research, consumer behavior, target marketing, product, price, distribution, and promotion, and global marketing. Recommended Prep: BUS M30 and ENGL M02. Transfer credit: CSU.

Need help additional help with Registration?

***Dual Enrollment at Moorpark College students are exempt from paying college tuition ($46 per unit), but are be required to pay the MC Health Fee, MC Student Activity fee,  MC Student Center Fee, and MC Student Rep Fee (total ranging from $27-$35 per semester). Paying these fees give students access to our Student Health Center, and student's can purchase a Student ID card from our Student Activities Office. ***
