Below is a list of tasks that you can volunteer to do for Silver Sisters. We appreciate all the help we can get! Fill out the form below to indicate your interest in serving.

Widows Walk - Spring 2025
Planning Committee Member - serve on the committee that comes up with the ideas and finalizes plans for the event. Also will help recruit workers and assist on the event day.
Merchandise Coordinator - recommend and facilitate procurement of items to sell for raising funds on event day, including branded items (has our logo on it), plan sale site layout and payment options. Oversee event day sales activities.
Site Manager - determine and implement setup (placement of signs, sales area setup, water table, etc.), and facilitate cleanup. Address safety issues.
Registration/Information Table- assist people on event day with registration and giving information, as needed. Manage lost and found items.
Photography/Videography Director - gather a team of people to take photos and videos of the event. Collect results and give to tech person for posting on the website.
First Aid Coordinator - have first aid supplies (bandaids, ace bandages, antibiotic ointment, etc.) and man a station you set up to assist people, as needed.
Water Station Attendants - set up a table on the far side of the lake with bottles of water for distribution to walkers.
Promotions Team - design and recommend promotional materials and signage for the event, facilitate placement and distribution.
Event Director - coordinate, oversee, and assist (as needed) with all positions and operations.
