SVY Scholarship Granting Criteria

1. Applicants need to be 5th through 8th-grade students enrolled in the United States;

2. Students need to explain how they foresee the enrichment program they select will benefit their personal growth;

3. Students need to show motivation and commitment to the enrichment programs they would like to join;

4. Students need to make sure that the enrichment program they’d like to pursue does not conflict with their schedule or negatively impact their school work, and they are able to attend the program on a regular basis;

5. Parents or guardians of the students need to show support;

6. Students and parents/guardians need to certify that they are unable to afford the monetary cost of the enrichment opportunities withouth the scholarship;

7. Students need to obtain the support of a teacher who is willing to fill out the teacher’s form.
