What can I do? After-School Enrichment Program Ideas

Need ideas on how you can make better use of your time beyond school, make the first step toward exploring something new, and have an experience that may have a life-long impact?

We are proud of our own SVY enrichment classes, taught by fun and knowledgeable high-school volunteers. Thousands of middle school students have benefited from our classes over the past seven years, and maybe you can be one of them!

Of course, there are so many other enrichment opportunities out there beyond SVY. While we are not affiliated with any of them and therefore can’t recommend any specific programs, we’d like to encourage you to talk to your teachers, parents, and friends to see what may be possible for you. Think about sports, music, arts, writing, math, cooking, performing arts, homework clubs, standardized test preparation, or anything that’s worth exploring. Once you have some good ideas, share them with your friends. It’s often more fun to venture together.
