Part 1 of this resource presents the lesson plans for Grade 1 in the LLEME program.

Teaching directions for the activities listed in the Grade 1 Weekly Lesson Plans & Curriculum Guide. Teachers match the activity number in the Lesson Plan for a specific day with the same number in the Teacher's Activity Guide (TAG) to find the teaching directions.
Rationale: Funding for this program was extremely limited. Many Grade 1 activities, particularly those related to early L1 literacy, are used across multiple lessons. Rather than repeating the directions for these activities in the Teacher’s Guide, the directions are provided once in the TAG. Each set of directions has a corresponding number in the Lesson Plan.
