Captis Ordering & Configuration
ORDER A CAPTIS
To order a Captis and retrieve the necessary details for successful configuration, follow this three (3) step process:
- Order and Pay for Captis Devices
Order and pay for a Captis device by clicking on this link: https://sigsense.dearportal.com
Please note each Captis requires an external antenna to be fitted. If you are unsure about which antenna to purchase please request a free cellular survey from SigSense for a site specific estimate.
2. Register the Meter Site on the DQP Portal
Register the Meter Site on the DQP Portal by clicking on this link: https://dqp.waternsw.com.au

3. Submit a Configuration Request
To submit a configuration request, click on https://sigsense.my.stacker.app/ and log in. If you have any issues logging in please contact SigSense Support
i. Request a Captis Configuration
Once logged in, request a new Captis configuration clicking on the blue 'Add New' button on the top right of the page.
Complete the required details that includes:
SourceID (where can I find the sourceID?).
Meter details including
Meter model/name
Meter pulse/modbus output settings
SigSense are familiar with the factory outputs for many meters (and can assist with determining the settings if needed). Please contact SigSense for support with determining settings if you're unsure.
GPS Coordinates for Mobile network coverage estimate (optional)
Submit request by clicking on the blue save button located at the bottom of the form.
ii. View, Search and Filter Existing Requests
Once submitted, the option to view, search, filter and check the current status of existing requests will be visible.
To view specific details on requests such as status, tracking number, configuration certificate, mobile coverage report, click into that request.
iii. Device Shipped
A physical configuration certificate is printed and sent with the data logger. Once this is complete the request will show a 'shipped' status online. If you require a digital copy of your certificate please email SigSense Support.
