For centuries, the artistic, scientific, academic, and social contributions of Black Americans have shaped the country, while impacting the world. With this year's "Jazz and Jeans" event, the Sigma Cares Foundation, in collaboration with its community partners, looks to celebrate an established legacy while working to promote a bright and fruitful future. This adults-only event, for which tickets are $30, will take place on Friday, February 23 at Positive Change Newark. Some of the featured programming includes:

• Musical Performances by an elite Jazz Band

• Spoken Word Presentations by three local artists

• Step and African Movement Exhibitions by members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

• Complimentary Cultural Food Samples

• Community-Focused Vendors, Giveaways, and more!

Again, this event is for adults only, and tickets can be purchased at this site. Any and all ticketing fees are optional due to our use of the Zeffy platform.
