6th grade learned a lot at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee this week for the Violins of Hope: Strings of Jewish Resistance and Resilience exhibition, presented in partnership with the Nathan and Ester Peltz Holocaust Education Resource Center and MYSO.

They had a tour of the museum, learned about the importance of music and violins during the Holocaust, and heard from a guest speaker whose mom survived the Holocaust.

All Are Invited: Altar Server Training

We're hosting Altar Server Training for everyone in the Catholic Community of 8 (St. Joseph, St. Sebastian, Sacred Heart, St. John Nep, St. Lucy, St. Richard, St. Edward, St. Patrick)!

Join us on Saturday, November 22nd, at 9:00 AM at St. Lucy’s.

Whether you're a seasoned server or brand new and interested in starting to serve at weekend Masses, you are welcome! Serving at the altar is open to all, from adults to students who have recieved their sacraments in 3rd grade and up.

It is a wonderful way to help with the Mass and a true privilege to be so close to Jesus.
