"Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure." - St. John Paul II

Dear families and friends of Siena,

As we navigate the last few months of school, I am reminded of the words of St. John Paul II that "life with Christ is a wonderful adventure." Throughout our Catholic school community this past month, this theme has resonated deeply.

We can have every part of our day planned out, but we still must be open to how the Lord wants to work in our lives and call us to greater holiness, and this might involve doing things that go above and beyond what we planned. How many times has this happened to you? We are called to embrace each moment as an opportunity for growth and discovery. We might be surprised by how this looks and what we learned; it is a beautiful thing to discover where God is leading you.

I can see firsthand how our schools stand out as beacons of hope in the world, where faith and knowledge come together to inspire our students. Through our commitment to academic excellence and the teachings of Jesus Christ, we equip our students with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the modern world with courage, compassion, and integrity.

As we journey forward, may we continue to cultivate a community where love is paramount, where every child feels valued and cherished, and where the future is full of hope.

Thank you for entrusting us with your students. Together, let us embrace the adventure of life with Christ, knowing that with Him, all things are possible.

God bless,

Dr. Sue Savaglio-Jarvis

President, Siena Catholic Schools

A Memorable Milwaukee Admirals Game for 7th Graders at St. Rita

In an entertaining matchup between the Milwaukee Admirals and the Iowa Wild, St. Rita 7th grade students witnessed exciting action all over the rink in a hockey game this past month. This amazing opportunity was due to the generous donation of Admirals season ticket holders, Peter and Hollie Bartell. They  are the owners of Versi-Foam Systems (rrhfoamsystems.com)  a insulating spray foam system for homes, and their son, Austin, plays goalie for a junior hockey team in Michigan.

Thanks to the generosity of the Bartell family, St. Rita’s 7th grade homeroom, Mr. and Mrs. Maraccini, and the chaperones were able to experience the thrill of a professional hockey game, which included t-shirt thowing, chants from the crowd, dance contests, ice cream, and soda. To top it off, the Admirals pulled through for a win!

Two Career Events at St. Catherine's Ignite Interests

St. Catherine's students have been exploring new opportunities this past month! The first opportunity came to students as many professionals from the community came out to St. Catherine's to present on their chosen field. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions to delve more deeply into the professional world.

In addition to the Career Fair, Ms. Johnson and Ms. Rivas took 30 students to the Hispanic Youth College and Career Fair presented by Yo Puedo at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha.
