Care and Outreach

We are a Still Speaking and Open & Affirming congregation.  Here.

We bring items  to shelters and community organizations for those in need to help alleviate homelessness and poverty in Ohio County, working through Service from the Heart. We are collecting diapers and personal care items for Service from the Heart of the Public Health Department of Ohio County.

Currently the collection of food items for the Summer Food program is underway. We serve every other month to bring worship service to The Waters, the Rising Sun senior care center.

We participate in the community Thanksgiving service.
