Welcome Moose Lodge Team!
Hi Friends,
On Wednesday afternoons, students are engaged in an American Sign Language Class. This provides a unique cultural experience while learning a second language. Students learn about speech process, hearing process, and how ASL is used. Students learn ASL alphabet, numbers, vocabulary, grammar and Deaf culture in fun and engaging ways! Most lessons include ASL educational games that promote fast learning. After a few classes students are able to understand and sign back and forth with teachers and other students. Students quickly gain skills such as direction giving/following, story telling, and song interpreting. Each week the staff becomes more and more surprised with the Moose Lodgers ASL abilities!

Happy Signing!
