Shulamith Lower School provides support for all students struggling with areas of academics.

• Licensed staff members connect with all the students by integrating themselves into the classrooms throughout the day.

• Small study group learning is also provided in the areas of reading(Hebrew and English), Math, Chumash and Ivrit.

• Students feel safe and grounded with the learning center staff.They are able to share their anxieties and concerns about learning which in turn gives the students a safe environment to learn, recall, reflect, and communicate knowledge from the classroom.

• Mental skills including organization, working memory, flexible thinking,a nd self control are also emphasized to help the students learn and better manage their daily classroom life.

• Shulamith receives services; resource room, speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy and counseling from the local Lawrence Public SchoolWe have enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with them since the inception of the school.

• Shulamith is also fortunate to have relationships with the other neighboring school districts. These districts include Hewlett, Oceanside, and West Hempstead.
