In the event that a student needs to join class from home, because the student is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, has been exposed, or in quarantine, please be aware of the following procedures:
- A parent should email the office at lowerdivision@shulamith.org by 8:30am. The office will alert the teacher that a student/s will be joining virtually and the necessary technology will be turned on.
- Students who are joining virtually will begin the school day at 9:00am. Therefore, the student should davven before class begins at 9:00am. Links to tefilla can be found on the Distance Learning website.
- At 9:00am, the student should begin the day by logging in to her morning teacher’s Google Classroom or Seesaw. Once on Google Classroom or Seesaw, you will see the link to launch the teacher's Zoom. Please note: to protect the privacy of our teachers and students, we can not post Zoom codes on the website.
- Class resources including handouts and assignments will be posted to Google Classroom or Seesaw.
- Please note: students that join from home will not only be able to participate in the class, they will also be able to be seen by the class. Please make sure students are dressed appropriately for school.
