Course Description - This course is a continuation of the Dual Language Program. The course is taught predominantly in Spanish. These students will study Checkpoint A vocabulary which includes familiar topics like food, family, personal description, house, home, travel, community, and weather. The grammar focuses on all aspects of present tense. This course will also include authentic and challenging readings made for Native Speakers. This course aims to improve students' writing skills in Spanish as well. The course culminates in the Spanish Checkpoint A Exam.

Google Classroom is used regularly. Homework assignments, are posted daily. Quiz and test information is posted weekly. Projects and classwork assignments are posted as they come up. Students are expected to check Google Classroom to remain current.
