Absence
Students should do their best to get what they missed from Google Classroom or another student. Students should have a responsible friend in class that can give them missed notes.
If a student misses a graded homework or classwork, they may make it up for full credit before that week's quiz. Put "absent" in the private comment box.
My notes for the previous week and current quiz will be posted on Google Classroom on Sunday afternoons. My notes should be used as a reference and are merely a review guide that should accompany your own notes from that week. My notes are entirely in Spanish and do not have translations.
If a quiz is missed, the student must make it up the next day that they are present for class. It is the student's responsibility to make up the quiz. Quizzes must be made up within one week. Quizzes, tests, or projects never completed will receive a zero.
Prolonged absence (more than 3 consecutive days) will be considered an extenuating circumstance. More time will be given to make up work. The student must contact me directly to make arrangements.
Behavior Expectations
Students are to be respectful of the teacher, each other, and the learning environment.
Students should arrive on time, not call out or exhibit distracting behavior.
Students are expected to use their Chromebooks responsibly and to support educational activities.
There will be graduated consequences for poor behavior culminating in administrative contact. So, be good!
