Course Description - This is a course for native speakers of Spanish that will serve as an introduction to formal study of the language.  We will focus on basic vocabulary and spelling.  We will also touch on some grammar topics.  This is a half period course that takes place during the students’ lunch period.  This course will have classwork, quizzes, and projects, but no hw.  Students will receive a grade for this class.  It is NOT pass/fail.   Students will take a formal exam at the end of the year.
