Safety

Make a pass when you have eye contact with the receiver

The bat is in your hands ONLY when it is your turn to bat

Make sure no one is near you when swinging the bat

No sliding


Rules

3 outs per inning

No tagging up

Ball caught on the fly is an automatic out

If a runner is tagged with the ball then he is out

If a fielder steps on the base then you are out

Scoring

Every time you have PE, the score is continued from last class

-grab “c” seams

-wrist snap (down not sideways)

-Use glove for momentum

Catching

-Use two hands when possible

-reach in glove –take ball out (no flipping)

-move feet to get behind ball

-call for ball

-Use 2 hands when catching

-drive step


Hitting

-knob to ball
