Welcome Back!

Although this school year may still look a bit different than what we are accustomed to, what has not changed is my dedication to my reading student's learning needs and services. I am here to help you navigate through this different learning world, work on strengthening your reading skills and challenges as well as support you in making this a fun and successful 2021-2022 school year.

Reading Services Learning Plan

• Beginning of the year, ongoing and end of the year informal reading assessments to determine progress

• Weekly small group meetings to work on strengthening individual student's reading needs

• Weekly small group meetings to support individual student's reading academic work needs

• Students will utilize various online reading sites and programs to work on their specific reading needs as well as be able to track their progress

Reading Services Google Classroom

Ms. Gomes' Reading Services Google Classroom is the central location to find:

• Reading assignments and activities

• Links to available online reading sites and programs

Additional Information

• I am available by email every day between the hours of 7:15 am-2:15 pm and can be reached at egomes@shschools.com

• My scheduled afterschool office hours are every Thursday from 2:10-3:00 pm

• If any student is in need of extra help and cannot make my office hours, please email me to schedule a time to meet
