There will be no Connections meetings on 9/16 - use the class time as a study hall. The first meetings will be held Friday, 9/17 during regular class time (E block will meet Monday) to provide an overview of the semester and course expectations. It is mandatory to attend this meeting and we’ll be using the Google Stream links in your Google Classroom to connect. The schedule/assignments for the semester will be posted if you’d like to review it before the first meeting but we’ll go over it in class as well.

Connections is a course that requires you to have a placement with a staff mentor. In the next week, think about who you’d want to work with and start reaching out to those prospective mentors, if you haven’t already. In our first meeting, we can discuss placements and any concerns/ideas you may have. I’ll send an email early next week with dates, times, and links for the first class meetings so there’s no confusion! But don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions ahead of time.
