Washington D.C. Youth Tour and the Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience (CYCLE)
Grundy Electric will sponsor four high school juniors from area schools within its service territory to attend leadership conferences. The top two finalists will be awarded the Washington D.C. Youth Tour and the additional two finalists will be awarded the Cooperative Leadership Conference known as CYCLE held in Jefferson City, Mo. Both leadership conferences are paid in full by Grundy Electric. The only expense to students would be if they wish to purchase souvenirs.
FRS Youth Tour 2022, All expense paid trip to Washington D.C. June 1st - June 5th
Must be ages 16 or 17 at the time of the tour (typically Juniors)

Missouri Boys & Missouri Girls State
The American Legion Girls Boys State of Missouri is an eight-day hands on experience in the operation and fundamentals of government. Missouri Girls and Boys State draws together the best and brightest high school juniors to help lead them down the path of individual success and leadership through “doing,” not just learning. One idea paramount above any other at Missouri Girls and Boys State: That the individual is the one with the power to change the world. Whether athlete or politician, journalist or more!
