The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, SHNHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

National Honor Society members volunteered to assist the United Methodist Church of Bethany with the mobile food pantry. During the 2021-2022 school year our local NHS chapter volunteered over 30 hours to assist the mobile food pantry!
