World Language Festival Goes Virtual!
World Language Festival Goes Virtual!
The Shen High School World Language Fest has traditionally been celebrated during the third week of March. Organized by the teachers of the high school’s World Language Department, it spans all languages and cultures of the globe, allowing students to choose the culture they wish to showcase.
In High School West, students have the choice of creating a project, preparing a dish to share at lunchtime, or presenting a performance. At High School East, each World Language class contributes to a colorful day of performances in the school’s Little Theater. All World Language students have a fun opportunity to contribute to a spectacular celebration of cultural diversity in our school.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and the sharing nature of the festival, it has been necessary to cancel World Language Fest again this year. We hope you will enjoy these recordings of performances and photos from the 2019 festival, and we look forward to bringing WLF back to our community in 2022.
