Students are allowed to check out a maximum of THREE items from the Library Media Center for a loan period of two weeks.

Faculty & staff members are allowed UNLIMITED checkouts from the Library Media Center. There is no specific loan period for faculty.

With the return of normal circulation procedures in the HMS Library Media Center, we will no longer be offering book deliveries.

Students may still place up to five books on hold at a time. Students will be notified via email when a book is ready for pick-up in the Library Media Center. Students may also check the status of a book hold through the HMS Library Media Center online catalog--Destiny Discover.

- Log in to your Destiny student account
- Search for the book you would like to reserve
Don't forget to check out the TOPICS (aka genres), COLLECTIONS, and FEATURED BOOK CAROUSELS!
If a book is marked "Lost," you will not be able to place it on hold.

- Log in to your Destiny student account
- Click on MY STUFF in the top menu
- Click on HOLDS in the dropdown menu
If your hold is marked "Ready" in Destiny Discover, check your email for a pick-up notice from Mrs. Dodson or Mrs. Guin before coming to the Library Media Center. Please, do not come to the Library Media Center until you receive an email.
*If you do not see the blue HOLD button on your screen, double-check to make sure that you are signed in to your student account. You may need to completely sign out and sign back in to reset the page.
