Book Checkout
Everyone is a Reader...Some Just haven't found their favorite book yet.
Every classroom will visit the library to return and checkout books along with a lesson or activity on a weekly basis. You will find the times below.
Checkout Information
Students may have 3 books checked out at a time.
Students check out their own books.
Books must be brought to the library to be renewed.
There are no "late fees" for books.
Books that are damaged or lost will be need to replaced or paid for ($15.00 per book.)
Students may get an overdue notice if the book has not been brought back for a lengthy amount of time.
If a student does not have their books they will be able to read from book baskets in the library.
Book Care
Tips for how to care for books:
Do not put water bottles into backpacks with books
Do not eat or drink while reading your library books
Keep books in a safe place so they do not get lost (backpacks, nightstand, table, etc.)
Keep books away from younger children and pets
Turn pages gently and carry book properly when walking
Do not fold pages - use or make a bookmark
