Mrs. Sisco has been the librarian at Calera Intermediate School since 2011.

She also taught kindergarten, third, and fourth grades all at Calera schools. She graduated from Calera High School in 2002 so Calera will always be “home.” She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Auburn University and a master’s degree in library and information studies at Alabama State University.

Mrs. Sisco and her husband have two daughters. They have a farm with cattle and row crops. In Mrs. Sisco’s spare time she likes to read, crochet, spending time with friends and family, and watching Auburn sports! War Eagle!

Some of Mrs. Sisco’s favorite books are Hatchet, Wonder, The One and Only Ivan, and books by Nicholas Sparks and Richard Paul Evans.
