Intermediate Choir

This is a non-auditioned choir for treble and tenor/bass singers.  Throughout this course students are taught intermediate music theory, vocal function, and a variety of choral music.  This ensemble pays special attention to vocal range and vocal register.. This course  involves four formal choir concerts and participation in organizational contest in the spring. Ensemble and solo activities are designed to develop elements of musicianship including, but not limited to, tone production, technical skills, intonation, music reading skills, listening skills, analyzing music, and studying historically significant styles of literature.  Optional social activities will be scheduled throughout the year.
