Our Team

Grantham Centre - Green Impact

The team behind this project consists of 4 PhD students at the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures (University of Sheffield), one Grantham Centre staff member and 2 student project assistants. We came together as a part of the Green Impact initiative and our SHEFF-Yield project is one of 2 Green Impact projects that the wider Grantham Centre team has created.

We are sustainability enthusiasts who would like to learn how to grow our own food and teach other people how to do it in the process. Growing food in our own homes or in allotments is one of the ways to becoming more sustainable and it contributes to people's food security, healthy diet and also general well-being.
