Dr Rob Ward, Head of RAMS Lab
Dr Rob Ward holds a joint academic position between department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. Rob teaches rapid control prototyping to 3rd and 4th year UG students. He is interested in the domains of CNC machine tool control, industry 5.0 and operator 5.0 technologies, human-in-the-loop manufacturing, machining digital twins, autonomous process planning, robotic manufacturing and CNC interpolation. Rob sits on the executive committee for Sheffield Robotics as the co-theme lead for Manufacturing Robotics.
