Sheffield Hallam University - Day 1

The first day of the conference will be held at Sheffield Hallam University. The Hertha Ayrton STEM atrium will be the heart of the conference on the first day, and will be the space to meet our sponsors, for networking opportunities and for the all-important refreshments.


Our facilities, such as teaching spaces, labs and workshops, is where students can put learning into practice in a supportive environment. An overview can be seen in the video (which is for our potential applicants). Facilities include a variety of labs, including mechanical, materials testing, automotive, electronics, electronic computer aided design, embedded systems, power, and control, robotics and automation labs. In addition to the labs, there is also the flight simulation suite, and polymer and metal 3D printing facilities. As part of the programme, as well as the opportunity to see our Engineering facilities, we are building in the chance for you to see our SCALE UP teaching rooms and have a tour of our Mathematics hub.

The Diamond building at the University of Sheffield - Day 2

A striking structure that is home to over 6,000 students from the Faculty of Engineering. Seven engineering departments and three interdisciplinary programmes use The Diamond and is home to the CATE award winning Multidisciplinary Engineering Education team.
