About us
This Google site was put together and is maintained by members of the University's Open Educational Resources Working Group. Comprising members of teaching, research and Professional Services staff, this group reports to the Digital Education Advisory Group and aims to:
promote awareness and understanding of the University's Open Educational Resources policy
foster an OER community at Sheffield
advise and make recommendations in support of the commitments laid out in the University OER policy
help identify the guidance, resource and infrastructure required, to enable staff to produce accessible OER and meet the OER criteria outlined in the ACP
identify good practice elsewhere and to promote Sheffield’s good practice
work with relevant stakeholder groups within the University
create a work plan and review progress against the plan, with agreed indicators of impact and clear measures of success
identify potential risks and areas of concern and develop processes for mitigation and resolution
