Our research project is complete. We are working hard to develop outputs to share the new knowledge generated.
This includes resources designed to support the information needs of service-users.
You will find people in new roles in many different places: inpatient and community services, adult services, CAMHS, and in some physical health services.
Understanding all the different job titles and roles can be really confusing, whether you are new to services or have been using them for a while.
To help the first resource we have developed is a webpage and leaflet to support service-user interactions with new roles.

It is essential to consider how the implementation of new roles in mental health service meets the expectations of those using the services provided. Whilst completing our research we asked members of the Steering Group with lived experience what they think about new roles and what it is important to consider when implementing them.
