Hi! I’m Sophie, an MA International Public & Political Communication student! It’s my fourth year in Sheffield & second year as an LGBTQ+ representative with this group! 

I’m also the Trans+ Representative Councillor on SU Council! As Co-President, my role is to lead & steer the LGBTQ+ Society as we navigate our first year, & act as a figurehead & advocate for all of our LGBTQ+ community. 

I am honoured to lead such a fantastic team into 2025, & am excited to see our society flourish & grow into a powerful group for our community!

Hello hello!! I'm Theo, I'm a second year Urban Studies and Planning student.

As your Welfare & Inclusions officer, it's my job to keep all our events and posts etc. as inclusive and accessible as possible with help from the identity reps. Also, assisting and signposting as needed to keep our community safe and comfortable. <3

As BAME rep, I'll also be doing my best to represent the BAME community in our committee, as well as planning socials specifically for LGBTQ+ People of Color.

Hello <3 I'm Lucien, a second year Geography and Planning student, and I'll be the Gay Men's Representative, as well as the Charities & Campaigns Officer.

As your Gay Men's Representative, I aim to represent gay men within the committee and be a point of contact for anyone that needs support - feel free to contact me in whichever way is easiest for you. :) 

As Charities and Campaigns Officer, I aim to begin a campaign to increase community representation and spatial relation through the development of creative space. I hope to involve students, as well as various Sheffield-based charities and artists in the enhancement of key university spaces (e.g. the concourse). Hello! This is Arsen, your NB+ rep. 

I'm an astrophysics postgrad student. I'm also into D&D, Genshin impact, sociology, fiction, etc. I usually lurk in the LGBTQ+ Lounge. 

As your NB+ rep, I'm responsible for creating a positive space and representation for non-binary, gender fluid, gender nonconforming, or any other identities out of the binary! My idea for doing this is to ensure that events and socials remain inclusive and representing a non-binary viewpoint in the society committee!

Hi I’m Toby, I’m a third year General (Energy & Sustainability) Engineering student. 

As Non-monogamy rep I’ll aim to represent non-monogamous and polyamorous students within the LGBTQ+ Soc committee, and to ensure our events and activities are accessible for everyone.
