Campaigns

Following SU restructuring in 2024, responsibiliy for much of the wider LGBTQ+ campaigns was transferred to the new LGBTQ+ sub-committee within the wider Liberation Committee. This is currently led by the LGBT+ Part Time Officer.

Getting involved with the sub-committee is open to anyone, with no formal membership structures. 

Since creation, this group has been responsible for campaigns surrounding:

• Trans Day of Remembrance

• LGBTQ+ History Month

• Queer Student's Gathering

The best way to get involved is to follow the Liberation Officer and LGBTQIA+ PTO on their Instagrams to find out when the committee meetings are!
