Case-based, Applying-Knowledge, Subject-specific, Ethics and Skills 

Six week rotation in Phase 3a (third year) which is designed to enable deeper learning and understanding of the care theme.

ACE curriculum will cover: 

• Women's Health

• Psychiatry

• Neurology/Geriatrics

• Child Health

• Community/Public Health

Sessions include formal seminar teaching, small group work, communication skills and integrated learning activities focusing on increasing clinical understanding of the above specialties.

Primary Care Input: Wednesday morning sessions are small group tutorials facilitated by a General Practitioner. The small group sessions include:

• learning using virtual primary care ( a bank of professionally recorded primary care consultations) with discussion and learning around professionalism and patient safety

• Communication skills training based around the Phase 3a theme.
