What are the aims of such network?

· To create a supportive and safe space for Global South researchers to share experiences, information, issues and advices

· To encourage researchers from the Global South make the most of their research period at the University of Sheffield with the view of establishing long lasting interactions with other researchers

· To embed a culture of dedicated and tailored support for researchers from the Global South by identifying their specific professional development needs to prepare them for future professional challenges

· To establish a network with regular events and interactions between researchers from Global South (i.e. seminars, coffee mornings, workshops and symposia)

· To provide opportunities for personal and professional development

· To represent the views of researchers from the Global South at the University of Sheffield and take up relevant issues
