If you are applying to study with your own funding, you will need to have funds in place to cover tuition fees and living expenses, as well as any additional running costs for the project (called a fee enhancement). Ideally, you should start planning and investigating funding opportunities at least a year before you want to start your studies. Some information on PhD scholarships can be found here.
If you are applying to an advertised project for self-funded applicants, please go to this page for further information. You can search for available projects here and also on FindaPhD.
If you have already identified a supervisor, you will need to discuss whether they have a project, and this will need to be approved before your application can be considered. If you would like to find out more information about the supervisor you have identified, try searching for their name on the University website here.
If you have not yet identified a supervisor, you can search for a supervisor here by typing in a keyword relating to your research interests, or you can type in the supervisor's name if you know it.
You will still need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study for a PGR degree as well as your suitability for the project.
