Application Overview

Part 1 of the form asks you to provide information about yourself and your qualifications, as well as supporting documents. General information on what documents you should supply to support your application can be found here.

Please make sure your application is as complete as possible, as any missing information will result in delays. We need the requested information to assess the following:

• Your academic qualifications - for more information, please go to What qualifications do you need to study for a PGR degree? in the FAQs section. 

• If you are from overseas, your proficiency in the English Language. You can find more information on the requirements for your English Language Qualification here and in the FAQs section under What qualifications do you need to study for a PGR degree? 

• Your experience - for more information on what might be relevant to your application, please go to What experience is relevant to my application? in the FAQs section. Details of how your experience makes you suitable for a PGR degree should be included in your personal statement.

• Your motivation to study for a PGR degree - you need to provide a personal statement that tells us your motivation for studying for a PGR degree. For more information on what should be included in your personal statement, go to What needs to be in my personal statement? in the FAQs section.

• Academic references - for more information, go to What evidence do you need to show you are suitable to study for a postgraduate degree?  in the FAQs section.

Part 2 asks you about the course for which you are applying. You need to click on 'Add New Research Course' to bring up the correct window.
