🤝SME Internship Programme - Applications are Open!🤝
Want to gain paid work experience with SME's and Charities? 🎊
The SME Internship Programme allows students to undertake a paid internship with SMEs and charities. The scheme is an opportunity for students to use their knowledge and skills to benefit a local organisation while gaining valuable career experience.
These internships are exclusively for home undergraduate students.

💰Equal Opportunities in Careers Fund is Back!💰
Applications for Semester 1 Opens 8th October!💸
Students eligible under the criteria, are able to access up to £300 per academic year, to cover expenses related to an employability opportunity.
In the past, this has helped students access travel and professional clothing to attend interviews, work shadowing experience as well as attend training courses and conferences relating to their career goals.
The funding is open for applications in monthly rounds and all students applicable for the funding are contacted via email with the closing dates and application form.

CAREER MENTORING IS BACK 🎊
Career Mentoring provides students with the opportunity to receive mentoring from Sheffield alumni for the duration of a semester, from the field of your choosing. The Autumn scheme will run from October- December 2025.
Priority access goes to Equal Opportunities students (you!) and Ambition Scholars that apply.

Got an upcoming job interview, assessment centre, or new job?
You can get a free referral to The Suit Works, a Sheffield Non-Profit Organisation that offers free outfits from their huge range of pre-loved formal wear, with clothes for all shapes, sizes, and tastes.
All you need to do is drop into the Employability & Placements Hub in the Students' Union where our staff will help you with your referral!
