November Opportunity Round Up

Welcome to the November monthly round up, showcasing the most relevant on-campus, virtual and external employability events as well as job opportunities from employers who lead the way for equality and diversity in their workplaces.

No doubt you have already got yourself involved in lots of new extra-curricular activities, whether this be a sports team, societies and committees, or attending the super popular Autumn Careers Fairs (we hope to see you all back in the Spring!). However, there are a whole bunch of career and employability focused events that can help take your skills to the next level, no matter where you are on your career journey.

Here is your round up of November’s employability activities, tailored for our Equal Opportunities community.

How to… series

Similar to a seminar, you will be taught through presentations and group activities and be expected to get involved with the work. This is also a great way to get help from the employability advisors in a more casual way, rather than a 1-to-1 appointment.

Continuing on with this semester's How to…series, are two highly requested workshops:

8th November: How to… succeed at interviews 3-4pm @ The Wave

14th November: How to… write a CV, cover letter and application 3-4pm @ Hicks LT03
