Committee Elections

Elections to the ERS committee are held annually, posts are held until the next AGM.  Committee posts are open to all contract (fixed term or open ended) research staff within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield (UoS).

The aims of the ERS are listed on the About Us page, and the full constitution is available to download

The committee holds open one hour meetings approximately once every other month.  Whenever possible, committee positions are split between two people to spread workload. Committee positions will require a few hours work each month outside of the regular meetings, this time commitment will vary depending on position, time of year, current activities, etc.  A list and brief description of the current committee posts is shown below, please contact the current incumbent for further details of responsibilities.
