Equity free grant funding, the Emerge Future Founders Fund is open to all current students*, recent graduates (in the last 3 years) or staff that have engaged with the Emerge: Be enterprising offer.
Three rounds of funding of increasing value are available to support problem exploration, idea development and launching a business.
*subject to a suitable application as assessed by the Emerge Team. Funding may not be available for those students on certain visa types

The Business Model Canvas is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool, that allows founders to describe, design, challenge, invent, and pivot their proposed business model.
Comprising nine key building blocks, the canvas allows the founder to explore, record and adapt the relationship between each block. It forms the basis of a business plan, without the reams of paper, thus saving both time and resource.

Pitching can be a complicated and very personal process, that requires in-depth knowledge, skill, practice, practice and practice. A startup business may have many pitch decks that have have been honed and tailored to the specific audience being delivered to.
The Emerge Team has therefore created an example of what could be included within a deck, with the caveat that this will change depending upon the reason for pitching and who the audience is.
